Overview

Traditionally viewed as a negative force that diverts valuable entity resources, protests can also be viewed as a positive force that can lead to best practices in public procurement. NIGP recently published a best practice for Protests. Join us as the NIGP Task Force on Best Practices for Protests shares their experience and highlights the guidance on how to avoid or mitigate protests. Learners will gain an overview of the underlying reasons that may lead a supplier to protest, the issues the protester may state, and the steps to take when a protest is received. This online training session provides an overview of protests relevant for all public procurement professionals. Specifically, the webinar will highlight best practices for avoiding or mitigating protests, including the use of protests to evaluate and improve procurement processes.
