Overview
Just like in the 1990’s movie Groundhog Day starring Bill Murray, we all get stuck in a cycle of repeat. When it comes to work, we can easily get into a pattern or a routine of familiarity and find ourselves doing the same things the same way for years, maybe even decades. Sometimes it's hard to notice because we have just adapted. Though this may be a comfortable place to pause for a while, we shouldn’t stay there for long. Striving for excellence is a key component of professionalism. It means that we put quality into everything we do. Striving for excellence in procurement means that we are always on the look-out for new and innovative ways to do what we do. Our motto should be “change is good” and research indicates that any type of change can spur productivity. What You'll Learn
