More and more entities are recognizing how quickly the world, the workforce, and the way we work, are changing. As a result, executives are looking for individuals who can lead change, implement revolutionary strategies, and create a new paradigm in the entity. In fact, the call for radical change has never been louder than it is right now. As a result, procurement leadership is being challenged, and must be ready, to deliver innovative approaches, execute continuous improvement, break down barriers, and engage staff to drive this evolution. Sure, change management is about managing the process of “making changes,” but what does it take, and how do you prepare to take on this role?

Presenter Bio(s) 

Theresa Webb, M.A., NIGP-CPP, CPPO, CPPB, C.P.M. has over 30 years of experience in procurement in both the private and public sectors. In her procurement leadership roles, Theresa oversaw the procurement of goods, services, technology, construction, concessions, and capital improvement. She has Bachelor and Masters’ degrees in Business. Since retiring in early 2020, Theresa has continued serving the public procurement profession through volunteer work and as a consultant.

Theresa has served on multiple boards, committees, panels, task forces, and councils over the years including current Chair of the NIGP Accreditation Committee, President of the Florida Association of Public Procurement Officials, NIGP Talent and Member Councils, LINCS Advisory Board for St. Pete College, ISM Survey on Business panel, President of the Tampa Bay Area Chapter of NIGP, Airport Purchasing Group Board, and the NIGP Research Committee.  Theresa has also participated on NIGP Pathways coursework creation, NIGP Global Best Practice teams, and is a certified NIGP Instructor.

 

Attendance for Individuals

In order to receive one contact hour, each member needs to register for the webinar individually in advance and then watch the live webinar. Your credit is tabulated by match between your login and your registration.

Attendance for Groups

There is a Group Sign-In Form provided with each webinar. The group sign-in form does not register anyone for the webinar, it just verifies live attendance. Each person will receive their login email on the day of the webinar – this verifies their registration. The group sign in form verifies that they watched the live webinar.

Please contact distancelearning@nigp.org if you do not receive your login information by 12 pm ET on the day of the webinar.

Cancellation Policy

Registration and payment must be received 24 hours prior to the course start date. After this time, registrations will be based on space availability.  A full refund, less a $75 administrative fee will be given for cancellations made in writing 31+ days prior to the seminar date by emailing RegistrationInfo@nigp.org. No refunds are given for cancellations received within 24 hours of the seminar start date. There are no refunds for no-shows. If the seminar is cancelled for any reason, NIGP's liability is limited to the registration fee only.  

Attendee substitutions within the same agency may be done at any time with email notification to NIGP. If attending via scholarship, please provide documentation verifying the scholarship issuer's name and contact information in lieu of payment information.
